Release  #081925 - August 19th, 2025

About this release:

This is another quality of life release with some highly requested improvements and fixes.

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Improvement: Users now have the option to skip re-sending photos to the MLS when no photo changes were made. This will allow for much faster updates to listings when photos are not changed. 📝 Note: this option will appear on each listing after the next published edit.

  • Improvement: We are now showing a status on each listing when viewing the listing dashboard in grid mode.
  • Improvement: In the event that a listing has price changes and photo changes, we are sending the price change first so that it appears faster on the MLS and is not slowed by image updates.

  • Improvement: Improved the timing of on-page notifications (which we call toasts)

  • Improvement: We have overhauled our listing status page to provide more detail on what’s happening and what went wrong if something fails to publish.

  • Fix: We are now showing a proactive error message when users try to upload a photo greater than 12mb.

Release  #080725 - August 7th, 2025

About this release:

This is a smaller release, focusing on an upgrade to our data matching engine as well as some bug fixes. We anticipate another round of bug fixes and improvements to come out next week. Happy August!

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Fix: When adding an MLS to a listing, the dropdowns would get stuck in an error state,  and users would have to hit “clear” to reset them. This is now fixed.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where the button to add co-listing agents was missing

  • Improvement: We upgraded our data matching engine, which will have two big impacts for users:

    • It improves the ability to match dropdown values across MLSs

    • It improves the amount of data we pre-fill when a new listing is created

Release  #073125 - July 31st, 2025 ☀️ ☀️ ☀️

About this release:

Happy Summer from Ocusell. This release brings a new integration and fixes to List and List Plus. Let’s get into it! ☀️🔥

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • New✨ Restb.ai Integration: Ocusell is proud to announce our partnership with Restb.ai, and their tool is now integrated into our platform. Soon, users in select MLSs will have the ability to make use of Restb.ai’s public remarks generation and auto-populate from photos. We are working closely with our MLS partners to activate this integration, so stay tuned.

  • New✨ Ability for admins to import listings on behalf of their agents: Sometimes agents don’t add listings via Ocusell, but their admins want to help manage their listings in Ocusell. Admins now have the ability to import their agents’ listing(s). To do it, go to “add listing” > “Import” > and then choose the agent. (We’ve got your back, Monique 👌)

  • Improvement: There have been situations where an address may have “NW” in the street field, but also “NW” in the suffix field. While the listing will go to the MLS correctly, it may be presented differently in Ocusell, and that creates confusion. We’ve corrected this by improving our geolocation and address service to ensure what you see on the form matches what’s in the heading of a listing. We’re hoping this significantly reduces situations where the addresses don’t appear consistent.

  • Fix: If an address is updated on a listing, the map pin now reflects the update correctly

  • Fix: The search bar now includes results for draft listings

  • Fix: Corrected some issues around status transitions

🌎 🔭 Release  #062625 - June 26th, 2025

About this release - Into the Status-phere:

We’ve got some big changes coming to List™ and List Plus™ in this release. Most importantly, we’ve completely overhauled the status change experience. We now guide you through a robust status change workflow, ensuring that all status rules and fields are presented in a simple way. In addition to that new workflow, we’ve sprinkled in a bunch of other delights as well as some bug fixes. We can’t wait for you to see it.

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • New✨ Status change workflow: You can now manage the transition of your listing’s statuses directly from List™ and List plus™.

  • ✨New✨ Listing Printout Sheet: Whether you need a printout for your records, a datasheet to send to your clients, or a listing detail sheet for open houses, we’ve got you covered. We’ve added the ability to print listing detail forms for Draft, Active(Published), and Archived listings. If you have clients who are more tech-savvy or you’re trying to go green, this Listing Printout Sheet can be downloaded and sent as a PDF as well.

  • UX Improvement: We rearranged the listing form just a bit 👌. The media and documents area is now above the public remarks section, providing a more logical layout to the form. This way, you can add images and then scroll to the public remarks section and make better use of the “generate public remarks” AI feature, which builds a robust listing description from your images and form data.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where the square footage was not being pushed to GAMLS on occasion

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where some listings were showing the error “502: Bad gateway”

🛏️ 🛁 Release  #052825 - May 28th, 2025

About this release - Beds, Baths, and Beyond:

This release contains a new and improved version of our beds and baths section, along with a number of smaller bug fixes. After this release, we will have another that includes an overhaul to our status change workflow as well as a printable version of our listing form.

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • New✨ Beds and Bath section: This section on the listing form has been completely revamped to be more intuitive and easy to complete.

  • UX Improvement: Archived listings are now viewable with all fields in read-only format, rather than the summary listing view that only showed a portion of the fields.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where dates were not being calculated correctly on the listing dashboard

  • Fix: Corrected some issues around fields not being prefilled correctly on residential listings

  • Fix: Updated our pre-fill to automatically select things like “parking features: garage” if “garage spaces” is prefilled.

Release  #051925 - May 19th, 2025

About this release:

This release contains a new and improved version of our photo gallery and some smaller issue fixes and improvements.

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • New✨: Photo Gallery. You heard that right, we completely rebuilt our photo gallery from scratch. We’ve received lots of feedback and wanted to improve the experience drastically. This is v1 of the new gallery, and we have some additional improvements coming in the next few releases. One key note: multi-image drag and drop is not part of v1, but will be coming in the next few weeks.

  • Fix: Improved the address display on the listing review page. In some cases, the address was not showing correctly on this page, although it was showing correctly on MLSs and in the form itself.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where some past dates were not shown correctly across time zones.

  • Fix: The public remarks were not showing as updated on the listing review page, even though they would go out to MLSs correctly.

  • Fix: Improved support for .HEIC image files

Release  #043025 - April 30th, 2025

About this release:

Hey folks, this is a larger release with some fixes and a huge new feature for our List Plus™ users: cloning across property types. We've got some big improvements to sections on our listing form coming up next month, and we can't wait for you to see them.

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Improvement: Updated placeholder text on numerical fields to include the word “Example: $0” instead of just “$0” so that it’s clear a value needs to be entered.

  • Fix: We are now prefilling the PPIN field if data is found from our sources on commercial listings.

  • Fix: When a listing is created in List™ or List Plus™, users are shown the total count of pre-filled fields. We are now correctly totaling the pre-filled fields.

  • Fix: Updated business rules for the “Tax Legal Description” field

  • Fix: Corrected a UI issue where the “next” button on our mobile layout was showing up on larger screens.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where the form sections were not properly clickable on our add/edit form, sending users to the wrong section header.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where some listings were able to proceed to the review screen without a listing agent or status attached.

  • Fix: We are no longer putting the file name into the caption field.

Updates List Plus™ in this release:

  • Feature: ✨ Cloning across property types! ✨ You’ve asked, we’ve delivered - it is now possible to clone a listing across property types from an MLS or within List Plus™. The cloning flow will be the same, but you’ll now see options for selecting the property type. We’re not limiting any options here, so it’s possible to clone a residential lease into a residential sale or even something way different, like a commercial lease.

  • Fix: Corrected a UI issue where the send to admin flow buttons had confusing language.

Release  #041725 - April 17th, 2025

About this release:

Hey folks, today's release is a little bit smaller than normal, with have one small feature and one fix. We're also very focused on building and testing two new key features: cloning across property types and enabling all status changes from List™ and List Plus™. These two bigger items are planned for later in April and we're going to make sure they're great. Thanks for using our tools, thanks for your feedback, and thanks for being awesome.  - Will

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Feature: We will now proactively prompt users if their MLS credentials are no longer valid. Example: A user changes their password on an MLS system, but doesn’t update it within Ocusell. We will scan for this every few hours and proactively prompt the user that their credentials are no longer valid.

  • Fix: Photo captions are now moving to GAMLS and FMLS correctly

Release  #041025 - April 10th, 2025

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Fix: We upgraded the logic that displays addresses to prevent situations where prefixes and suffixes were either getting removed or doubled.
    • Further explanation: MLSs have many separate fields for an address. Meaning, the property number, street name, suffix, and prefix are all separate fields. When we show addresses, however, we want to put them in a standard format like “123 North Test Street”. This is all well and good, but what happens if a user puts “Test Street” in the street name field and then selects “St” as a suffix? The app will display Test Street St. We have logic to help users with this and anticipate what users are trying to do, but that logic needs adjusting. That was the fix here.
  • Fix: Corrected an issue where the “?" character was being removed from Virtual Tour links

  • Fix: Added the Deposit and DepositRequred fields to FMLS listings on the appropriate property types. We also put some of these fields in a more logical order under a “Financial” section, underneath Tax/Legal.

    • We’re also working on some larger arrangements to the form for this quarter where the fields are organized more logically. This particular change was just a tiny part of that.

  • Fix: Some users were experiencing vague errors when publishing. We got to the root of many of those, but also improved error messaging so that if something is incorrect on publish, users will have clear direction on what to correct.

  • Fix: Corrected issues where users were receiving errors on the GarageSpaces and CarportSpaces when ParkingFeatures was not selected

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where users were receiving an error for RoomDiningroomFeatures from FMLS when publishing a listing.

  • Fix: Users will no longer see the “Acres AP” field on listings. This is a hidden field in FMLS and we are now hiding it appropriately in Ocusell.

  • Fix: Improved our validation around “LotSizeSource”

    • COMING SOON: We are working closely with our MLS partners to better address issues when users select “Public Remarks” for LotSizeSource. That fix is not part of this release, but will be coming in a future release.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue around ListingContractDate when users are updating (editing) active listings

  • Update: Made the MLS selector more intuitive for users who are importing listings.
  • Major changes to our automated sync process:  Ocusell List™ and List Plus™ will now be syncing listings with each MLS every 30 minutes, including all fields and images. This means if anything changes with a listing on the MLS, we’ll bring those changes into Ocusell automatically.

    • Further explanation: Historically, we’ve called this “bi-directional sync”, meaning that any changes made on the MLS to a listing will come back into Ocusell. When we first launched this in February, we were only watching public remarks, private remarks, list price, and status. Now we’re watching every single field including the photos. You may have questions on how this works, so let’s go over some scenarios.
    • Scenario 1: A listing is published to FMLS. Great. The next day, an agent uploads 40 new images to the listing on FMLS. Within 30 minutes of that change, Ocusell will pull in those new images completely. One thing to note here: Ocusell does not overwrite draft changes on an active listing for any field except for the photos. Meaning, whenever there are new photo updates incoming from an MLS, we’ll blow away anything previously not published in Ocusell.
    • Scenario 2: A listing is published to FMLS and GAMLS. Someone goes into both MLSs separately and changes the list price. Within 30 minutes, that list price is updated in Ocusell to match what’s on the MLSs. What happens if the MLSs don’t match? Ocusell will update with what the latest change was. So if the user changes the price on GAMLS to $120,000 and one minute later changes the price on FMLS to $121,000, Ocusell will reflect the FMLS value and the user will need to publish from Ocusell to send that value back to GAMLS. We originally thought to push this back out automatically but received feedback from some users that they would rather retain that control.

Release  #040725 - April 7th, 2025

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Update: When users create listings in Ocusell, we're pre-filling the listing with over 40+ trusted data sources. We will now highlight those pre-filled fields with a different background color so that users know what was manually entered vs pre-filled. Note: once a pre-filled value is changed, the background color will go back to normal, indicating that the pre-filled nature of the field has changed.

  • Update: We will now allow users to remove unused credentials on their accounts. Occasionally people add the wrong credential for an MLS and will never use it, so we’re providing the ability to remove it. Note: A credential may only be removed if it’s not tied to a listing, no matter if that listing is published, in draft mode, or archived.

  • Fix: Small change to better handle agent's initials when they have multiple first names or last names.

  • Fix: If the Land lot field has more than 10 characters then we will show the error message when users click Proceed to Publish.

  • Fix: Corrected an issue where Tax Annual Amount allowed decimals, but then users would receive a validation message that decimals were not allowed. We’re now ensuring only whole numbers can be entered here.

  • Fix: Occasionally when dragging and dropping images in new places, the change wouldn’t take and the image would return to its original spot. We’ve corrected this.

Release  #040125 - April 2nd, 2025

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Pipes can now be used in the public remarks field and will work with GAMLS accordingly. For reference, | this | is | a | pipe character.
  • Agents and admins can now remove unused credentials from their account
  • Provided better UI for agents or admins with hyphenated names when showing their initials. For instance, the name “Will Smith Davis” in Ocusell was previously shown as “WS” where we show initials, rather than “WSD”. This is now corrected.
  • Corrected an issue where users could have the same credentials applied twice to one listing.

Updates to List Plus™:

  • Users can now free-up a listing for others by leaving the listing or closing their browser / tab. Previously the unlock required the user to navigate to another listing.
  • Corrected an issue where users weren’t able to clone an archived listing

Release  #033125 - March 31st, 2025

Updates to List™ and List Plus™ in this release:

  • Fixed an issue where street names with multiple words weren’t displaying correctly. Example: "Dust Patch Road" would sometimes display as "Dust Road", where the second word in the street name was dropped.
  • Fixed some issues around photos being uploaded and the original order changing incorrectly.
  • Better handling for an edge-case around credentials on listing import.
  • Fixed an issue around public remarks AI generation.
  • Fixed an issue where imported listings would sometimes show "there is an on market listing with the same address" when publishing to FMLS.

About this Release:

  • This was a small release with a number of bug fixes around photos, imports, and listing details. We're working on some larger iterations but wanted to get these smaller changes out quickly. - Will
